Indian two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has announced its monthly sales report for February 2022, showcasing its total sales figures. According to the report, TVS Motor Company sold 2,81,714 units in total with 173,198 units in domestic sales. In comparison, the company sold 2,97,747 units during February 2021, with 195,145 units of domestic sales. TVS Motor Company also mentioned the optimistic improvement in the supply of semiconductor chips over the coming few months.
Statistics for two-wheelers, international business & three-wheelers
Starting with two-wheelers, the sales report states that the company sold 2,67,625 units in total during February 2022. However, TVS Motor Company registered a total sales count of 2,84,581 two-wheelers during February 2021’s sales report. Meanwhile, the manufacturer witnessed a growth in sales of motorcycles by 5% whilst comparing reports from February 2021 and 2022. This means that two-wheeler sales increased from 1,37,259 units in February 2021 to 143,523 units in February 2022.
For scooter sales, the company registered 86,616 units in February 2022 compared to 95,525 units in February 2021. The sales report also showcases the company’s total export figure growth by 6 % from 101,789 units in February 2021. Throughout February 2022, TVS Motor Company registered a total export figure of 1,07,574 units across various global markets.
Its two-wheeler exports grew by 6%, from 89,436 units in February 2021 to 94,427 units in February 2022. The final category in TVS Motor Company’s sales report includes the growth of three-wheeler sales by 7% during the same period. The company registered a sale of 13,166 units in February 2021 compared to 14,089 units in February 2022.

In January 2022, TVS Motor Company partnered with food-delivery giant Swiggy to accelerate and promote electrification for its delivery fleet. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two companies talks about the diversification of mobility segments across the country. TVS Motor Company and Swiggy will work together on the basis of the MoU to test the implementation of EVs. Via this partnership, the company will explore the co-creation of sustainable and comprehensive solutions for Swiggy’s delivery partners in India.
