Japanese automotive giant Toyota has announced the launch of its all-new luxury sedan, the 2022 Camry Hybrid, in India. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TK) will offer the 2022 Camry Hybrid, which now features new design changes that signify various attributes. The brand has enhanced the power, luxury, style, and elegance quotient of the sedan on the exterior and the interior. TKM will offer the new Camry Hybrid via its dealerships at a price tag of INR 41.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid: Design Details
The 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid now features a re-styled front bumper with a front grille that houses chrome inserts. Along with the neatly integrated LED headlamps and LED DRLs, the luxury sedan also sports fog lamps and bumper-mounted air vents. Additionally, Toyota has equipped the new Camry Hybrid with 18-inch, dark grey, machined-finished, metallic alloy wheels and restyled LED taillights.
Toyota offers the 2022 Camry Hybrid in Attitude Black, Platinum White Pearl, Graphite Metallic, Metal Stream Metallic, and Red Mica colours. Other colours include the Silver Metallic and Burning Black and a Black base extension for the Rear Combination Lamps. TKM will offer an 8-year/1,60,000 Km warranty on the new Camry Hybrid and has already opened bookings.
2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid: Technical Specs
Powering the new Toyota Camry Hybrid is a 2.5-litre, 4-Cylinder Gasoline Hybrid Dynamic Force Engine with a powerful Motor Generator. The hybrid motor produces a total output of 218 PS and 202 Nm via an e-CVT automatic transmission. Toyota offers the new Camry Hybrid with three driving modes – Sport, Eco, and Normal, enhancing efficiency and performance. The Camry Hybrid utilizes the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), which offers high body rigidity, comfort, handling, and stability.
2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid: Interiors & Features
Toyota has ensured to refresh the design of the luxury sedan’s cabin, which caters to its customer’s evolving needs. The new Camry Hybrid now gets a Floating-type, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Additionally, Toyota has equipped the sedan’s cabin with a state-of-the-art, premium 9-speaker JBL sound system with Clari-Fi technology. The new Y-designed instrument panel of the Camry Hybrid now gets a black-engineered wood effect film with a composite pattern.
Toyota has also ensured to equip the sedan’s interior with Ventilated Front Seats and Sequential Shift with Paddles. Another driver-focussed convenience feature includes the 10-Way Power Adjustable Driver Seat, ORVMs, and Tilt-Telescopic Steering Column with Memory Function. Other features of the Camry Hybrid include a Wireless Smartphone Charger, Heads-Up Display, a Tilt and Slide Moonroof. Meanwhile, Rear Passengers can access the Reclining Seats, Power-Assisted Sunshade along with Audio and AC Controls on a capacitive touch panel.
The automaker has also ensured to provide a Retractable Sunshade and Power Tilt functionality for the Moonroof. Toyota also offers a three-zone air-conditioning system that emits nanoe positive ions to moisturize the skin and hair of passengers. For safety, the Camry Hybrid sports 9 SRS Airbags, Parking Assist with Back Guide Monitor, and a Clearance with Back Sonar. Other safety features include Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist Control, Electronic Parking Brake, and TPMS.
