British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has launched the latest Gold Line edition of the Bonneville T120 in the Indian market. Priced at INR 11,79,000(ex-showroom), Triumph has launched the bike alongside 5 other Gold Line Edition bikes. Triumph has stated that it will produce the new Bonneville T120 Gold Line for a 1-year period, marking its exclusivity. By launching this bike, Triumph intends to showcase the hand-painted gold lining skills of its expert paint shop.

The two-wheeler manufacturer also states that the hand-painted gold lining skill takes years of expertise, patience, and extremely steady hands. Triumph begins the process by applying a two-colour base scheme where the meeting point between the two colours undergoes flattening. The process then continues with a hand-applied, continuous gold pinstripe by the artist via a specialized soft-bristled sword-liner brush. The painting process is complete after the application of a final clear coat of lacquer to seal the pinstripe.
