The MG Astor boasts of bringing 14 Autonomous Level 2 features to the segment. Thanks to the radar and a multipurpose camera, the MG Astor comes with several ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features. This includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking. The SUV also comes with assistance features such as Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Departure Prevention, keeping the occupant safe. The Astor also gets Intelligent Headlamp Control (IHC), a Speed Assist System and Rear Drive Assist (RDA) to enhance convenience. The brand also offers safety features such as 6-airbags ESP, TCS, HDC, along with 27 other safety features a standard.
MG Astor – Engine Specifications & Dimensions
Powering the MG Astor is a BritDynamic 220 1349cc turbo-petrol motor. The engine is capable of producing 140 PS of power and 220 Nm of torque. MG offer the engine a 6-speed automatic transmission. The brand also offers a VTI-Tech 1498cc naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 110 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque. The motor features a manual transmission and an 8-step CVT automatic gearbox option. The brand does not offer a diesel motor on the MG Astor. The Astor measure 4323mm in length, 1809mm in width and 1650mm in height.

The brand is targeting the “young and dynamic” audience with the MG Astor. Therefore, the brand employs the “emotional dynamism” design philosophy on the Astor. The SUV features the expressive character and the sporting DNA of MG cars. The Astor comes with a concave celestial grille on the front flanked by hawk-eye LED headlamps integrated with 9-diamond-like LED elements. The vehicle comes with an aggressive LED cluster taillamp with jewel-like detail. The Astor features a progressive roofline and a tapering glasshouse, giving it an athletic stance.

The MG Astor comes packed with technology. The SUV also boasts to come with several segment-first features such as Car-As-A-Platform and Drive AI (Artificial Intelligence). The Astor not only gets 80+ connected features through the Next-Gen iSmart technology but also features MapMyIndia 4D maps, Park+, Jio Saavn and Koinearth Vehicle Digital Passport. The Astor also comes with soft-touch materials and a dual-tone leather cabin with the MG Astor assistant on the dashboard top. The car comes with a flat-bottomed steering wheel and a 7-inch instrument cluster. The Astor also gets 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment, PM 2.5 Filter, Rain-sensing wiper, Rear AC vents and Electric Parking Brake.
