Aprilia has launched the much anticipated Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 in the Indian market. The Aprilia RSV4 comes with a price tag of INR 23.69 lakh ex-showroom. On the other hand, the Tuono V4 comes with a sticker price of INR 20.66 lakh ex-showroom. The Aprilia RSV4 comes with a new-generation design and styling similar to the Aprilia RS 660 and Tuono 660. Both the motorcycles come with an updated design, the latest generation electronics and a Euro5/BS6 compliant engine.
Aprilia RSV4 – Engine Specifications
The Aprilia RSV4 comes with a Euro5/BS6 compliant 1099cc liquid-cooled V4-cylinder engine. The engine produces 217 PS of power and 125 Nm of torque. The motorcycle comes with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The Aprilia RSV4 comes with the world’s first mass-produced narrow engine V4 and claims to break the 305 kmph barrier.
Tuono V4 – Engine Specifications
Powering the Tuono V4 is a 1077cc Euro5/BS6 compliant V4 cylinder engine. The engine produces 175 PS of power and 121 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
Aprilia RSV4 & Tuono V4 – Mechanical Specifications
The Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 come with an upside-down front suspension and a monoshock on the rear. The motorcycles also come with a Moto GP-style swingarm and 17-inch alloy wheels. Braking power comes from 330mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes with Brembo high-performance callipers.
Aprilia RSV4 & Tuono V4 – Electronics
The Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 come with an extensive electronics package thanks to APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control). This includes features such as Aprilia engine maps (AEM), Aprilia engine brake control (AEB) and Aprilia traction control (ATC). The bikes also get Aprilia wheelie control (AWC) and Aprilia launch control (ALC). The bike also gets functions such as cruise control (ACC), speed limiter (APT) and six riding modes including three Road modes and 3 Track modes.
Both the Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 are available to order from Aprilia dealerships in India, as per COVID-19 safety protocol and local regulations.
