600 Hp, 305 Km/h Audi RS Q8 launched in India at INR 2.07 Crore

Audi India has launched the fastest series-production SUV from the Audi family on the Nürburgring, the Audi RS Q8 in India at the starting price of INR 2.07 Crore ex-showroom. The German premium car manufacturer had opened bookings for the all-new Audi RS Q8 at the initial booking amount of INR 15 lakh, a few weeks ago, available at all Audi India dealerships, from the official company website and through Audi’s contactless digital sales channel. 

The Audi RS Q8 is powered by a 4.0-litre TFSI V-8-Cylinder twin-turbocharged petrol engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system (MHEV) and cylinder on demand (COD) technology, featuring a roller cam follower, hydraulic valve play compensation and a direct injection system that produces 600 Hp of power and 800 Nm of torque matched to an 8-speed Tiptronic gearbox coupled to a Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system with self-locking centre differential and a hydraulic torque converter with a lock-up clutch. 

The Audi RS Q8 can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h as standard, and 305 km/h with the optional RS Dynamic Package Plus. The Audi RS Q8 has set a new record at the coveted Nürburgring with a lap time of 7 minutes 42 seconds boasting to be the fastest production SUV around the iconic Nordschleife. The RS Q8 also boasts all-wheel-steering Sport Adaptive Air Suspension and 2 RS driving modes. 

The Audi RS Q8 not only boasts notable performance figures but also comes with everyday usability featuring aggressive styling and a vast range of customization options. On the exterior, the Audi RS Q8 features octagonal Singleframe design with a black, glossy RS honeycomb grille, RS-specific strips in the body colour, RS Matrix LED headlamps and LED rear combination lamps available as an option, RS roof edge spoiler, RS-specific rear apron, 23-inch Y-spoke alloy wheels, RS oval-shaped tailpipes for a full-bodied and sporty V8 growl. 

On the inside, the Audi RS Q8 features fully perforated RS Sport leather steering wheel flattened at the bottom with shift paddles also includes multifunction buttons, sports seats with RS embossing, Centrally positioned MMI touchscreen infotainment display, Audi Virtual Cockpit, Air quality package, 4 Zone climate control, Optional Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System, optional RS head-up display etc. 

The Audi RS Q8 is the brand’s fourth product launch for the year 2020 after the brand’s recent launch of Audi RS 7 Sportback in July, and Audi India is expected to add more models from the Audi global range to India.
