4 new electric scooters arrive in India, Quantum Energy

Hyderabad-based Quantum Energy has made its entry into electric two-wheelers by showcasing 4 new products. The company has also signed an MoU with MBI Korea. Under this, Quantum Energy will work with MBI Korea to bring advanced technology into high-speed electric scooters in India. Quantum Energy will initially offer four high-speed electric scooters in the country. These are – Plasma, Elektron, Milan and Bziness. 

Quantum Energy’s Four New Electric Scooters – Overview

The company says its four new electric scooters will offer a wide range of powerful, efficient and cost-effective options for all its customers. The most powerful of the lot is the Plasma. Powering the Plasma is a 1500 Watt motor, and the electric scooter can hit a top speed of 60 kmph. Quantum Energy also says riders can expect a range between 110 to 130 km on a single charge.

Next up are the Milan and Elektron. Both of these electric scooters use a 1000 Watt motor. On the other hand, the Bziness comes with a 1200 Watt motor. All three have a top speed of 50 kmph. And depending on the riding mode, they can deliver a range of 80 to 100 km on a single charge. All the models are powered by an advanced Lithium-ion battery pack. The company also claims it can charge from dead to full in 4 hours.

Quantum Energy also says all the batteries use a smart BMS with multi-level safety protections. This makes sure they are extremely safe. Furthermore, they also have good gradeability. This helps when carrying a pillion or when riding uphill. The scooters have also been tested and validated for Indian road conditions.
