Suzuki Burgman facelift – What to expect?
As visible in the spy shots, the updated model is heavily camouflaged, but its design silhouette is visible. From a distance, the scooter appears to be unchanged in terms of design, apart from a few feature add-ons.
The primary visible changes on the front include a new headlight that has an identical design to the current model, but the inside element is reshaped. Additionally, it has a single seat, which indicates that Suzuki might introduce a more affordable variant of the scooter.
Moving on, the exhaust can has a chrome plating, similar to the new Suzuki Access 125, which shows that the powertrain is going to be unchanged as well. The current model already has an OBD-2 B-compliant 125cc engine, which was updated last year with the latest emission norms.
The key design highlights of the Burgman have been retained on the facelift model as well. It gets a small windscreen, a digital console, and a comfortable riding position, similar to the existing model.
On the update front, we expect that Suzuki will add a few more features like the hazard warning button, etc. However, the majority of the scooter will remain unchanged apart from the add on of new colour options and graphics.
The test model looks production-ready, indicating that Suzuki might launch it in the coming months.
