2026 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante – What is special?
Based on the recently launched Vanquish two-door sports car, the Volante is essentially a soft-top version. It features an identical design to the Vanquish, along with a foldable roof.
The front fascia has the iconic Aston Martin grille and logo, with new LED lights and chiselled aerodynamic bonnet and body panels.
Additionally, it features different alloy wheels than the Vanquish, whilst its rear design is nearly unchanged, as it continues using the connected LED lights and the quad exhaust tips with a sport bumper.
To match its styling on the outside, it features a driver-centric cabin design with sporty seats and a premium leather upholstery package.
To retain the old-school charm in its design, the center console still uses the physical buttons for various features like the ride modes, traction modes, and the roof control button.
Additionally, it gets twin 10.25-inch screens for speedometer and infotainment systems, respectively.
The driver can also operate the roof up to 50 km/h. It takes 14 seconds to open and 16 seconds to close the convertible roof.
Powering the Volante is the most powerful front-engine 5.8-litre, V8, twin-turbo petrol engine that makes 824 bhp and 1,000 Nm of peak power and torque. An 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox delivers this power to its rear wheels.
The performance figures are equally staggering as it can sprint 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, while the top speed stands at a whopping 344 km/h.
Aston Martin will begin the production of the Volante in the Q4 of 2025, with an annual target of 1,000 units globally.
