Vespa has revamped its entire scooter range in India for the year 2025. This revamp includes the new Vespa Tech and Vespa S Tech scooters as well. Check the complete details of the newly launched Tech range by Vespa below.

2025 Vespa Tech and Vespa S Tech – what is new?

With the new update, Vespa has added a refreshed TFT console on the Tech variants. This console offers Bluetooth smartphone connectivity and supports features like turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, and other crucial information regarding the scooter. Additionally, the Tech variants now get the keyless ignition system, something that rivals the Honda Activa 125 and the new Suzuki Access 125 offer.

Mind you, the Vespa and Vespa S, both feature different designs which is inspired by the neo-retro philosophy. The Vespa Tech is available in 3 colour options: Girgio Grey, Energico Blue, and a special edition called Qala. Moreover, the Vespa S Tech is now available in 2 colour options: Nero Black (Matte) and Pearl White.

Both scooters are available with the refreshed 125cc and 150cc engine options. The 125cc motor develops 9.3 bhp and 10.1 Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the 150cc engine now makes slightly more power output by developing 11.2 bhp and 11.66 Nm of torque.

The pricing for the Vespa Tech starts at Rs 1.92 lakh ex-showroom, Maharashtra. However, the Vespa S Tech is priced a bit higher at Rs 1.96 lakh ex-showroom, Maharashtra. Mechanically, both scooters are unchanged from the outgoing models.

Our verdict

The newly updated Vespa scooter range now offers refined engine performance, a new outlook, and advanced features. However, the pricing of the Tech range is still on the premium side, which surely complements the sturdy build quality and upmarket feel of the Vespa range.
