TVS Apache RTR 160 2V and RTR 180 update details
While the shared teaser does not showcase a lot, the LED DRLs of the upcoming motorcycle duo are visible. The new update of both motorcycles will likely bring cosmetic updates along with a few new features.
As far as the styling is concerned, TVS will probably offer an updated headlamp and taillight design. Moreover, new colour palettes are also likely to be offered. Online rumours also suggest the addition of the USD forks, which is debatable.
In terms of features, we suspect that the semi-digital instrument console will probably witness a detailed revision with new connected features for the smartphone. However, all of these changes are more of a speculation until the launch takes place.
Speaking of the engines, both motorcycles will likely use the current engines, but TVS will update these powerplants with the new OBD-2B emission updates. Power figures and performance are also likely to remain unchanged.
The expected launch timeline of the updated motorcycles is in the next few weeks. Prices will most probably witness a small hike due to the new feature additions.
Our verdict
The upcoming TVS Apache RTR 160 2V and the RTR 180 bikes will offer a fresh flair of updates. While it has been a long time since these models have been up for sale, there are certain regional markets in India that see high demand for these models.
