At the biennial automotive event, the Auto Expo 2023, Tata Motors displayed the all-electric Harrier SUV in Delhi, India. The electric SUV which is likely to be built on Tata Acti.EV, a born electric platform is likely to make its debut in the current financial year. Test mules of the Harrier EV have already been spotted on Indian roads multiple times which also lead us to believe that the car could nearing production. So how much would the Tata Harrier EV cost in the Indian market?

Tata Harrier EV – Price?

Tata currently has all-electric versions of the Tiago, Tigor, Punch, and the Nexon. In its electric SUV portfolio, the brand has the Punch EV and the Nexon EV. The all-electric SUVs come with a starting price of INR 10.99 lakh ex-showroom and INR 14.49 lakh ex-showroom, respectively. On the other hand, the ICE versions of the Punch EV and Nexon EV come with a starting price of INR 6.13 lakh ex-showroom and INR 7.99 lakh ex-showroom.

This leads us to believe that the Tata Harrier EV will come with a price tag between INR 25 to INR 28 lakh ex-showroom. We speculate the price based on the internal combustion engine (ICE) Tata Harrier comes with a starting price tag of INR 15.49 lakh ex-showroom, and benchmarking the same with other Tata electric SUVs.
