Suzuki has updated the Burgman 400 maxi scooter in Europe with new colours for 2025. The new scooter, apart from the colour addition, remains unchanged.

Mind you, the Burgman 400 is a popular maxi scooter in the international market, like Europe itself. The 2025 model of the Burgman scooter is equipped with the latest features like LED lights, a twin-pod analogue console, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation support, SMS/call alerts, traction control, and more.

Powering the Burgman 400 is a powerful and punch-packed 400cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is mated to a CVT automatic transmission. This powerplant generates a peak power of 28.6 bhp of peak power and 35.2 Nm of peak torque. Moreover, Suzuki claims a solid fuel economy of up to 35 km/l for the Burgman 400.

Hardware-wise, the Burgman 400 is equipped with telescopic front forks and a monoshock suspension at the rear. However, it features a dual-disc brake setup on the front tyre and a single-disc brake at the rear.

Our verdict

The updated Burgman 400 maxi scooter has brought a fresh flair of change to the moniker with the new colour options. However, Suzuki has no plans to bring it to India anytime soon. The maxi scooter market in India is a very niche and low sales volume genre.
