Skoda Auto India has unveiled a teaser for the 2025 Kodiaq, hinting at its imminent launch in the Indian market. The teaser showcases a host of updates to the SUV’s design and features, promising a more premium and tech-forward experience for buyers.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq updates
The exterior design of the new Kodiaq retains its signature butterfly grille, now surrounded by chrome accents and lighting elements. The split LED headlights and aerodynamic dual-tone alloy wheels add a modern touch, while the panoramic sunroof and C-shaped connected LED tail lights enhance its visual appeal.
Inside, the cabin has been revamped with brown leatherette upholstery featuring perforations, a layered dashboard design, and a 2-spoke steering wheel. The centerpiece of the interior is a massive 13-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, complemented by a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. Multi-color ambient lighting, powered and ventilated front seats, and multi-zone automatic climate control further elevate the luxury quotient.
Safety features are expected to include multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The SUV will also offer conveniences like a wireless phone charger and an optional heads-up display (HUD).
Powetrain
Under the hood, the India-spec Kodiaq is likely to carry forward the outgoing model’s 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, upgraded to deliver 204 PS and 320 Nm of torque. The engine will be paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, ensuring confident performance across varied terrains.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq variants and availability
The 2025 Kodiaq will be sold in two variant – the Sportline and the full spec Laurin and Klement variant. It is expected to be priced around INR 45 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete with segment rivals like the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian, and the upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line.
