KTM is gearing up to introduce the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure with several new features, including cruise control, making it a standout in the adventure bike segment. The new model is set to be officially unveiled at the EICMA Milan event in November 2024. Subsequently, it will launched in India at India Bike Week 2024.

Key Features and Enhancements

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure will feature cruise control for the first time, allowing riders to maintain a set speed with ease. This feature is expected to enhance the touring capabilities of the bike, making long rides more comfortable. The cruise control system is operated via new switches on the left handlebar, with dedicated buttons for activation and speed adjustment.

In addition to cruise control, the new model will also include a cornering cruise control feature, which adjusts the speed based on the bike’s lean angle. This advanced technology ensures better control and stability during cornering.

Design and Performance

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure retains its rugged design, with a sharp front profile and muscular bodywork. The bike is powered by a 399cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine, producing 45.3 bhp at 8500 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, providing smooth and efficient power delivery.

The bike features a steel trellis frame, fully adjustable WP APEX 43 front suspension, and a rear suspension with 150mm travel, ensuring excellent off-road performance. The 21-inch front wheel and knobby tires enhance the bike’s off-road capabilities, while the increased ground clearance and fully adjustable suspension make it suitable for various terrains.

Market Impact and Customer Reception

The introduction of cruise control and other advanced features is expected to attract adventure enthusiasts and long-distance riders. The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure’s combination of performance, technology, and rugged design is likely to appeal to both new and experienced riders. With its competitive pricing and strong brand reputation, KTM aims to strengthen its position in the adventure bike market.
