The highly anticipated 2025 KTM 390 Adventure Enduro has been spotted testing once again, signaling that its launch date is drawing near. This latest sighting has generated significant excitement among motorcycle enthusiasts, particularly those who favor off-road adventures.
Design and Features
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure Enduro is designed to tackle the toughest terrains. The test mule, seen covered in dust and debris, suggests that it has been put through rigorous testing on various trails. The bike features a minimalistic design with a raised front fender, sleek LED headlight, and LED turn signals. The absence of a windscreen and the short tail section contribute to its lightweight profile, enhancing its agility and handling.
The bike is equipped with a sculpted fuel tank, raised handlebars, and a flat seat design, ensuring a comfortable riding stance for long journeys. Other notable features include toothed foot pegs and an underbelly exhaust, which are essential for off-road riding. The instrument cluster is expected to be a simple LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity, although advanced features like turn-by-turn navigation might not be included.
Performance and Specifications
Under the hood, the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure Enduro will be powered by the same 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine found in the new KTM 390 Duke. This engine delivers 45 PS and 39 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine might be tuned to better suit the bike’s adventure credentials.
The bike’s suspension setup includes front inverted forks with long travel and a WP offset monoshock at the rear, ensuring it can handle rough terrains with ease. The test model appears to be riding on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, which are ideal for off-road conditions. The braking system is expected to feature 320 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes.
Expected Launch and Competition
KTM is expected to showcase the 390 Adventure Enduro at the upcoming EICMA event, scheduled for November 7-10, 2024. The bike is likely to be launched by the end of this year or early 2025. Once launched, it will compete with other adventure bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the upcoming Hero Xpulse 400.
