2025 KTM 250 Adventure – more power and better features
Revealed in the global market, the upcoming 250 Adventure now features an identical design to the 390 Adventure. It gets a revised bodywork with a vertical dua-projector headlight setup along with new panels and a bigger windscreen. The exhaust has also been positioned underbelly on the updated model.
KTM has thoroughly updated the 250 ADV with the latest features. It now gets a 5-inch colour TFT console, which is similar to the one on the new 390 Adventure. Additionally, it now comes loaded with ride-by-wire tech and a bi-directional quickshifter. Moreover, KTM has fitted an Off-road ABS mode on it that enables switching off the rear ABS for more fun.
The chassis used is a steel trellis frame but the subframe is not aluminum as seen on the bigger 390 Adventure. The 250cc liquid-cooled motor has also been revised for better performance and more traceability. It now makes slightly more power and torque than the outgoing model. The peak power is now 31bhp and the peak torque is 25Nm, which is mated to a 6-speed gearbox equipped with a slipper-assist clutch.
The suspension used is also identical to the 390 Adventure; the front is a 200mm travel USD while the rear uses a 205mm travel adjustable monoshock unit. KTM has reduced the fuel tank capacity by 0.5 litres as it now gets a 14 litre fuel tank. Braking duties are done by a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc Bybre setup.

Our verdict
KTM is soon going to launch the updated 390 Adventure and the 250 Adventure in India. Both motorcycles hold a strong brand value among enthusiasts. The current 250 Adventure is priced at Rs 2.48 lakh ex-showroom, but we suspect that the new bike will be positioned higher than this price tag due to its features and technical upgrades.
