2025 Kia EV6 – What has changed?
The new EV6 features subtle styling upgrades on the exterior. It now features a new connected LED headlight setup, along with revised GT-line bumpers and a new LED taillight with sequential turn indicators. The 19-inch alloy wheels have also been refreshed in styling.
On the inside, it now gets a new three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and a new connected curved display for the speedometer and infotainment. Additionally, it features the Kia Connect 2.0 with OTA updates, Digital Key 2.0, a refreshed ADAS suite with 27 new safety features and 5 autonomous safety features.
While it still uses the E-GMP platform by Kia, the battery size has now grown to 84 kWh. This has resulted in an increased MIDC-claimed range of 636 km per charge.
The new battery pack is mated to two electric motors bolted on each axle. These cumulatively produce 320 bhp and 680 Nm of peak power and torque. The E-GMP platform also supports a rapid charger of up to 350 kW, which can charge it from 10-80 per cent in just 18 minutes.
With the 2025 model, Kia has now discontinued the RWD version. This means that the new EV6 is now available in only a single trim, which is the fully-loaded GT-Line AWD.
The new EV6 is available in 5 colours: Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Wolf Grey, Runway Red, and Yatch Blue Metallic.
