2025 Kawasaki Z900 – What is new?
The Z900 is undoubtedly the most popular middleweight sportsbike from Kawasaki in India. It sells in good figures and it is widely popular for its performance and looks.
With the updated model, the new Z900 will offer a new, sharp, and futuristic design inspired by the higher capacity sibling motorcycles. It gets a new dual LED headlamp with a redesigned cowl, new side panels, reshaped fuel tank extensions, and a brand new tail section with an LED light.
Moreover, the features list of the Z900 has been thoroughly revised. It is now equipped with a new TFT console that has a completely new UI with the latest features like Bluetooth headset-operated voice commands for calls/SMS, switching modes, and more.
Additionally, it now gets an extensively revamped electronics package that offers a bi-directional quickshifter, two power modes, traction control, and a cruise control.
While it continues to be powered by the 948cc, inline-four engine, it gets a revised emission packaging for better efficiency and a linear power delivery. This engine produces 123 bhp and 97.4 Nm of peak power and torque, which is further mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Given the fact that the current model is being offered with discounts, we assume that the new 2025 Z900 will be launched in the coming weeks. The pricing can be north of Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom) when launched.
