2025 Kawasaki Ninja 300 – What has changed?

Another year and another Ninja 300 update. Yes, this is what one will think when going through the updated details of the 2025 Ninja 300.

Launched at a price tag of Rs 3.43 lakh (ex-showroom), the “new” model offers a new colour scheme. Well, even the colours are not new because these have been carried over from the 2024 model.

However, customers will now get a new livery on all three colours, which include: Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Metallic Moondust Grey.

To hype the party, Kawasaki has now added a bigger windscreen and new projector LED headlamps, which make it look a bit modern, as compared to the outgoing model.

With that said, the rest of the motorcycle remains completely unaltered. No change to the old semi-digital instrument console even after years of existence in the market.

Powering the Ninja 300 is the OBD-2B-compliant 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It generates 38.9 bhp of peak power and 26.1 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duty is done by a slick 6-speed gearbox with a slip/assist clutch.

If we compare the “new” Ninja 300 to the competitors like the Aprilia 457, it feels ridiculously outdated.

Our verdict

It is high time that Kawasaki should either discontinue the Ninja 300 or bring a massive change so that it can stand against the modern rivals. The tech features it offers are stone-age old, while the design also feels excessively outdated.
