2025 Harley-Davidson X440 carries forward retro cool at same price

Written by News Team

Key highlights

  • Harley-Davidson X440 prices remain unchanged for 2025
  • Manufactured in India by Hero MotoCorp
  • Continues to offer retro-modern appeal with approachable dynamics

The Harley-Davidson X440 continues into 2025 with zero changes to its pricing, keeping the entry point to the iconic brand just as tempting. Developed in partnership with Hero MotoCorp and built in India, the X440 has become a volume driver for Harley in the sub-500cc segment.

Still priced at INR 2,39,500 for the base Denim variant, INR 2,59,500 for the Vivid, and INR 2,79,500 for the top-end S, the X440 remains focused on affordability without compromising brand presence. The pricing remains ex-showroom Delhi.

Specifications and dynamics

The Harley-Davidson X440 is powered by a 440cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 27 bhp and 38 Nm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. While the numbers don’t scream hooliganism, the X440 has always focused on a usable mid-range and comfortable cruising ability.

It features a steel trellis frame with USD forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.

A digital console, LED lighting, and Bluetooth connectivity round off the features list. While it doesn’t go overboard with tech, it covers the basics well for the price point.

Competition check

The X440 faces competition from bikes like the Triumph Speed 400, Royal Enfield Classic 350, and the Honda CB350. Compared to the Triumph, the Harley feels more laid-back and cruiser-oriented. The Classic 350 beats it on nostalgia, but the X440 punches back with better dynamics and engine refinement.

Final thoughts

It’s rare when “no changes” becomes the headline—but in a world of inflation and surprise price hikes, the X440 playing it cool is a flex. For anyone wanting that Harley badge in their garage without selling a kidney, this still makes for a very reasonable entry ticket.
