Scrambler Icon Dark – what’s new?

The Scrambler Icon Dark stands out with its all-black theme, featuring a matte black fuel tank, blacked-out fenders, and a smoked headlamp lens. The absence of the underseat cowl, present in the standard model, gives the bike a cleaner and sleeker tail section. Ducati has also introduced a range of customization options, including exhausts, seats, and colored panels, allowing riders to personalize their machines.

Under the hood, the new Scrambler is powered by an 803cc air-cooled L-twin engine, delivering 73 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 65.2 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, complemented by a quick-shifter for seamless gear changes. The bike’s tubular steel trellis frame is supported by a 41mm USD fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock, both sourced from Kayaba.

The motorcycle rides on an 18-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, wrapped in Pirelli MT 60 RS tires. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm front disc and a 245mm rear disc, ensuring reliable stopping power. Weighing just 176 kg (wet weight), the Scrambler Icon Dark offers an impressive power-to-weight ratio, making it agile and easy to handle.

Tech and features

On the technology front, the bike features a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, cornering ABS, traction control, and two riding modes—Road and Sport. These rider aids enhance safety and convenience, making this Scrambler a well-rounded package.

Bookings for the 2025 Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark are now open across all Ducati dealerships in India. With its competitive pricing and premium features, the Icon Dark is expected to strengthen Ducati’s presence in the Indian market.
