2024 TVS Jupiter launched in new avatar at INR 73,700

TVS has launched the new Jupiter 110 at the starting price of INR 73,700 ex-showroom. The TVS Jupiter in the new avatar comes with a futuristic design with modern light elements, and an upgraded engine and chassis. The brand also revealed that the bookings for the TVS Jupiter have already commenced through all TVS dealerships in India. Also, the TVS Jupiter will be available in 6 colour options – Dawn Blue Matte, Galactic Copper Matte, Starlight Blue Gloss, Lunar White Gloss, Titanium Grey Matte and Meteor Red Gloss.

Design and Features

The 2024 TVS Jupiter comes with a completely overhauled body design which now offers more space to the rider and pillion as well as a generous footboard. The new Jupiter 110 also gets an Infinity LED DRL on the front fascia which looks pretty futuristic. The LED DRLs also integrates turn indicators and even the stop lamp reverberates with the design on the front. In addition to this, the Jupiter also comes with hazard light function integrated with the turn indicator switch as well as Emergency Brake Warning which flashes lights in event of hard braking during emergencies. The new lights also offer a follow me home function as well as automatic turn signal reset which adds to the convenience of the rider.  The new Jupiter also comes with 33-litre of under seat storage, a 2-litre gearbox, USB charger and integrated ignition. The TVS Jupiter also comes with Advanced Digital Colour LCD Display with SmartXonnect. The new full digital display also comes with Voice Assist as well as navigation.

Engine and Chassis

The 2024 TVS Jupiter comes with a new-generation J110-series 113.3cc single-cylinder air/fan cooled fuel-injected engine with iGO Assist. The new engine is compact, lightweight and futuristic thanks to the torque assist motor integrated with the starter generator. The engine produces 8 PS of power and 9.2 Nm of torque without assist and 9.8 Nm of torque with assist. The engine comes matched to a CVT with a dry centrifugal clutch. TVS claims that the J110 engine is superior not only in performance but also its efficiency. The motor also claims stand in and pass by acceleration compared to its competition.

The powertrain also features DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coming on the piston skirt as well as the piston rings and along with a low inertia crank train system and low friction coefficient powertrain the motor is capable of returning a high fuel efficiency along with quick acceleration. The brand has also improved the chassis of the new Jupiter which now comes with Body Balance Tech 2.0. The new and improved chassis features a forward and lower centre of gravity and is now more mass centralized. The scooter also comes with bigger wheels 12-inches compared to the segment standard. The suspension has also been tuned to offer more stability as well as comfort.
