On the other hand, the petrol variant of the Fortuner comes with a 2.7-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 166 PS of power and 245 Nm of torque. However, the Toyota Fortuner also comes with a diesel powertrain with a 2.8-litres of displacement and a variable nozzle turbocharger. The oil motor produces 204 PS of power and 420 Nm of torque on the manual transmission and 500 Nm of torque on the automatic transmission option.

In addition to this, the SUV is also likely to come with Level2 ADAS features to enhance the safety of the occupants.
