Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch its much popular Swift hacthback in the Indian market. The 2024 Swift is currently under test in India and spy shots reveal that the car is being put through its paces in different geographical locations around the country.
The latest spy images of the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift have emerged on the internet showing the ongoing road test. The geographical area appears to be the a highway in the Gangetic plains of India. We suspect, the brand could be testing the car close to its Gurugram manufacturing facility which is not very far from the Delhi-Mumbai expressway.

While the 2024 Swift is now internationally available, the brand is likely to launch the hatchback, closer the beginning of the monsoon season in India. The new Swift is likely to come with a refreshed front and rear fascia, more spacious cabin and a new powerful yet efficient engine.
According to sources, the 2024 new Maruti Suzuki Swift was seen completely loaded and a couple of passengers. This leads us to believe that the company could be running fuel economy, suspension comfort and drivability tests in real world conditions, under peak capacity. Furthermore, sources reveal that the new 2024 Swift could be doing speeds of upto 120 kmph on the highway, even under loaded conditions.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift – What to Expect?
While the test mule is completely camouflaged, expect the locally produced Swift to be similar to the internationally showcased 2024 Suzuki Swift. This means, the hatchback is likely to come with new headlamps and taillamps, a redesigned grille as well as new front and rear bumpers.
However, the silhouette is likely to remain similar to the outgoing model. The interiors are also likely to receive an upgrade here in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki is also likely to offer a sunroof on the new Swift. In the engine department, expect the Swift to come with the new Z12E 1.2-litre petrol mild-hybrid engine.
