2024 KTM 390 Adventure all-new model ready for launch

Written by Nizam Shaikh

KTM is testing the 390 Adventure motorcycle in the Indian market. Last time a few static pictures of the motorcycle revealed some details. However, the bike is now seen at speed on the highways, revealing a few more details. The KTM 390 Adventure in its next-generation is likely to come with a new engine, new electronics and finer ergonomics than the current model.

2024 KTM 390 Adventure – Spyshot Details

The 2024 KTM Adventure 390 is likely to come with the new-generation LC4c engine. The engine made its debut on the KTM 390 Duke and is also the mainstay of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. Spyshots reveal that the new 390 Adventure gets an underbelly exhaust system. This leads us to believe that the latest-generation engine is likely to make it way on the 390 Adventure as well.

Spyshots also reveal a higher-mounted display. The rally tower style display is likely to be similar to the 390 Duke. The display is also shared by the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401. However, Adventure-specific features are likely to come with the 390 ADV. Spyshots also reveal a larger windscreen which also features a deflector on the top. The windscreen also gets an air vent to keep the rider cool during shorter rides in warm climates. The motorcycle is also likely to come with spoked wheels and dual purpose tyres.

2024 KTM 390 Adventure – Technical Speculations

Powering the KTM 390 Adventure is likely to be the same liquid-cooled 399cc single-cylinder engine producing around 46 PS of power. The brand is also likely to offer the new 390 Adventure with a lower saddle height. The current motorcycle has a commanding seat height of around 855mm which is quite challenging for rider’s with short inseams. The Gen3 390 Duke also comes with a shorter seat height and we expect the new 390 Adventure to follow suit. KTM is also likely to use the same chassis as the new 390 Duke however the brand will offer a long travel suspension.
