Kawasaki has just launched the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500 in the Indian market at the price of INR 5.24 lakh ex-showroom. Bookings for the Ninja 500 are now open. Interested customers can now book the new Kawasaki Ninja 500 from both the authorised Kawasaki showrooms and also through online channels such as Kawasaki India’s official website.
2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500 – Colourway
The Japanese brand is currently offering the Ninja 500 in a single colourway – Metallic Spark Black. The colour features a sparkling black body colour with matte finish on the mechanical parts and black alloy wheels. The motorcycle also gets a silver Ninja motif on the side, accented with a green underline. Will Team Green offer the KRT colourway that is internationally available? Maybe as a special edition version in the near future, however, it is still a question.
2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500 – Technical Specifications
Powering the Kawasaki Ninja 500 is a liquid-cooled 451cc parallel-twin engine. The 8-valve DOHC engine produces 45 PS of power and 43 Nm of torque. The motor comes with a 6-speed gearbox and Kawasaki’s Assist & Slipper Clutch. The Kawasaki Ninja 500 measures 1,995 mm in length, 730 mm width and 1,120 mm of height. The wheelbase measures 1,375 mm and comes with a ground clearance of 145 mm. The Ninja 500 also gets a 14-litre fuel tank, seat height of 785mm and a curb mass of 171 kgs.

In the liquid-cooled twin-cylinder mid-segment super sports category in India, the Kawasaki Ninja 500 competes pound-for-pound with the Aprilia RS 457. The Aprilia RS 457 is at par in terms of displacement, performance as well as features and also undercuts the pricing by more than INR 1,00,000/-. The RS 457 comes with a price tag of INR 4.10 lakh ex-showroom. The Ninja 500 also competes with the Yamaha R3, which comes with a price tag of INR 4.65 lakh ex-showroom but comes with less displacement, power as well as features.
