Hyundai India has introduced the IONIQ 5 with a new colour options on the exterior as well as its interiors. Hyundai’s flagship EV in India now comes with Titan Grey colour option. In addition to this, the IONIQ 5 EV also comes with Gravity Gold Matte, Optic White and Midnight Black Pearl colours. On the interiors, the IONIQ 5 comes with a new Obsidian Black colour theme. In addition to this, the IONIQ 5 is also being offered in the Dark pebble grey interior option.
2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 – Bookings in India
The best part is that the new colour additions are without any increment to its cost. Hyundai also announced that Customers can book the Hyundai IONIQ 5 by putting down an initial booking amount of INR 100,000/-. The company is also accepting bookings through Hyundai’s Direct to customer (D2C) portal, which offers a seamless purchase experience as well as from authorised Hyundai Showrooms.
2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 – Technical Specifications
Apart from the new colour option, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 remains unchanged. Powering the IONIQ 5 is a 217 PS/350 Nm Permanent magnet synchronous motor. The electric motor with rear wheel drive is paired to a 72.6 kWh liquid cooled lithium-ion with battery heating system.
The IONIQ 5 gets a single speed reduction gear and returns an ARAI certified range of 631 km on a single charge. Hyundai also offers an AC 11 kW charger which charges the car to a full 100% SOC in 6 hours 55 minutes. On a 50 kW DC charger it takes 57 minutes and 350 kW DC charger takes just 18 min to achieve 10% – 80% State of Charge (SOC).

The IONIQ 5 has been recognized with several accolades and recognitions such as the iF Design Award. In addition to this, an IONIQ 5 Robotaxi in the USA also passed a U.S. driver’s license test, showcasing its autonomous driving capabilities. Recently, Hyundai also revealed the IONIQ 5 N eN1 Cup race car showcasing its motorsport prowess.

In India, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 comes with a price tag of INR 46,05,000 ex-showroom.
