New Exterior Features

One of the key features that will attract new buyers is the panoramic sunroof. This was a much requested feature and should see many buyers flock to pick up this car. It also gets automatic LED headlamps with Auto High Beam. This is part of the Toyota Safety Sense Package. The LED daytime running lights get a dual function.

New Interior Features

On the inside, the car now boasts features like paddle shifts, a large multifunction TFT driver’s display, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with nine-speaker JBL Audio and iConnect connected car technology. For the benefit of rear passengers, the 2nd-row seats now get a powered Ottoman function. The car also gets a front and rear dual-zone climate control system. To prevent harsh sunlight, the rear gets an electric sunshade. Other comfort features include auto-dimming day/night IRVM and a powered electric tailgate.

New Performance Features

As known before, Toyota offers two powertrain options on the Innova Hycross. This includes a strong hybrid powertrain with a 2.0-litre engine and Toyota Hybrid System. The combined output of this system is 186 PS and a claimed fuel economy of 21.1 km/l. The petrol-only version too comes with a 2.0-litre engine, but the power is limited to 174 PS.

New Safety Features

The most significant update is the inclusion of active safety features. The Toyota Safety Sense package consists of Dynamic Cruise control, Lane Trace Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Monitoring System, Pre-collisions System and Auto High Beam. The Hycross also gets six SRS airbags, all-wheel disc brakes and a Panoramic View Monitor with dynamic parking lines.
