2023 Toyota Innova Hycross design revealed in spyshots

Written by Kanad Kalasur

New uncamouflaged images of the Toyota Innova Hycross have surfaced online. The photos reveal the front facade and its side profile. The Innova Hycross is going to be revealed in India on November 25. However, the MPV will be launched in the Indonesian market before that as the Innova Zenix.

New images of the Innova Hycross

These are the first images of the Toyota Innova Hycross. The MPV looks more like an evolution of the Innova Crysta rather than an all-new model. This is also because Toyota wants to keep a sense of familiarity with the customers. The car gets a large bonnet with prominent crease lines, a trapezoidal grille with a lower portion finished in chrome and slim headlamps. The bumper now houses a large air dam extending into the fog lamps.

The Innova Hycross gets a strong shoulder line and gets a crease over the rear door and wheel arch. The 3rd-row window is triangular and matches the slope of the tailgate.

What we know about the Innova Hycross so far

The Hycross will get a large panoramic sunroof, floating touchscreen infotainment and a 3-spoke steering wheel. It will be 4.7m long, making it slightly larger than the Toyota Innova Crysta. The dashboard also gets some chrome embellishments in the centre.

The Hycross will be powered by a 2.0-litre strong hybrid powertrain only. There will be no diesel option on offer. In terms of chassis, the Hycross is based on a monocoque structure with a front-wheel drive layout.

The car will be unveiled later this month; however, the price announcement is expected only at the 2023 Auto Expo. Toyota will also sell the existing Innova Crysta alongside the Hycross. We can also expect a Maruti version of the Hycross, most likely sold from Nexa outlets.
