2023 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650: What Are The Changes?

Now, with the 2023 update, the GT now gets much-needed upgrades. The motorcycle now replaces its halogen reflector headlight with the LED unit from the Super Meteor 650. Furthermore, it also borrows its new switchgear design from motorcycles like the Super Meteor as well.

Then it also gets the much-awaited alloy wheels. However, customers can have the alloys only on two of the six colour options. These are, namely, Apex Grey and Slipstream Blue. Another key highlight is the new feature is the addition of a USB charging port on the left handlebar.

Apart from these changes, the basics of the motorcycle remain the same. So the motorcycle continues with the 648cc parallel twin. With these upgrades, the price hike is INR 14,000.

Following its sibling, the Interceptor GT 650 too has gotten some upgrades. As a part of this, it gets an LED headlight, new switchgear and long-awaited alloy wheels. Prices now start at INR 3.03 lakh and go up to INR 3.31 lakh (ex-showroom, India). This marks an INR 16,000 increase over the earlier pricing.

Like the newly updated Continental GT, the Interceptor now gets the LED headlight from the Super Meteor to replace its halogen reflector unit. Also, it gets aluminium switch cubes which feature a neat retro design and feel rather premium.

The biggest change again here is the introduction of alloy wheels. But, these alloys are only available on two of the seven colour options. These are, namely, Barcelona Blue and Black Ray. The final key addition is a USB charging port on the left handlebar.
