Mahindra India updates its commercial vehicle lineup. Recently, the carmaker launched the 2023 Mahindra Bolero Maxx Pik-Up. This will retail with a price tag of INR 7.85 lakhs (ex-showroom). As we understand that the pricing remains unchanged compared to the previous model on sale.
Engine And Mechanical Highlights
Let’s talk about the mechanical and engine specifications. The SUV gets a 2.5-litre diesel engine. This motor makes 71 PS/200 Nm and 81 PS/220 Nm. To add to the fleet owners Mahindra has equipped the SUV with iMAXX connected solution. This is a perfect way out to help fleet owners to monitor their vehicles using the iMAXX app.
Mahindra claims that the updated model comes with a payload capacity ranging from 1.3 tonnes to 1.2 tonnes. The SUV also benefits from a 3050 mm cargo bed. This makes it the first in the industry in this segment.
Variants Available
Customers can have the pickup truck in two ranges. These are namely, City and HD (Heavy Duty). Counting all the variants on offer, there are a total of 12 variants on offer. This includes the CNG trim as well.
Key Features
Talking of the features, the 2023 Mahindra Bolero Maxx Pik-Up includes 50 features. The key highlighting ones include vehicle tracking, route planning, expense management, geo-fencing, health monitoring, and more. The SUV gets D+2 seating with height-adjustable driver seats. Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD 2.0L
The Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD 2.0L benefits from the first-in-segment bed length of 3050mm. This comes with a payload of 2 tonnes which makes it the segment leader. In addition to this, it benefits from a new 2-tonne proposition. This caters to applications and usage in the entry-level LCV segment, plus a best-in-segment 7R16 tire as well.
Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD 1.7L, 1.7 and 1.3
These variants are perfect for intracity applications. They equip the same 3050mm long bed with 1.7-tonnes and 1.3-tonnes payload capacity.
Bolero MaXX Pik-Up City 1.5 and 1.4
Then we have the City Series of pick-up Bolero MaXX. This is ideal for fleet owners and commercial vehicle buyers requiring smaller, more fuel-efficient pickup trucks. The City 1.5 and 1.4 comes with a payload capacity of 1.5 and 1.4 tonnes. The bed length is 2640 mm long, and these variants come with a claimed mileage of 17.2 km/l.
Bolero MaXX Pik-Up 1.3
The smaller City 1.3 gets a 2500mm long cargo bed length and it can carry a payload of up to 1.3 tonnes. Just like the 1.5 and 1.4 variants, the 1.3 also has a claimed mileage figure of 17.2 km/l.
Bolero MaXX Pik-Up City CNG
And lastly, we have the environmentally-friendly Bolero MaXX Pik-Up CNG version. This can carry a payload capacity of up to 1.2 tonnes and with a 2500mm long cargo bed length. This is suitable for small business deliveries and logistics.
