KTM has been on a roll now. The Austrian bike maker launched not one, but four variants of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure. These include the basic 390 Adventure X , the low-seat-height 390 Adventure V, the standard 390 Adventure and this top-of-the-line 390 Adventure SW. Today, we are going to look at the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure SW.
Coming to the looks, the bike also gets a new rally-inspired Dakar style colour and graphics scheme.
The spoke wheels consist of a tubeless design. The 390 Adventure SW also comes with 43mm WP Apex Upside Down open cartridge shockers at the front. These are adjustable for both compression and rebound by 30 clicks each. Further, the rear monoshock too is adjustable for preload 10 steps and rebound 20 clicks. The front and rear suspension travel stands at 170 and 177 mm respectively.
In terms of dimensions, the bike has a 1,430 mm wheelbase, 200 mm ground clearance and the saddle height is 855 mm.

KTM has equipped the bike with features like LED headlamp, ride-by-wire, traction control, quick shifter and more. Further, riders can get different ride modes as well as both cornering and switchable ABS. There is also a slipper clutch and a 12V power outlet to charge your mobile phone on longer rides.
Powertrain of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure SW
All the KTM 390s share a common engine. It is a 373cc unit that develops 43.5 BHP and 37 Nm of torque. Apart from the engine, the bike gets a Split Trellis frame. The tank capacity is 14.5 litres and the kerb weight is 177 kg.
Pricing of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure SW
KTM has set the price of this bike at INR 3,60,880. This means, it is the most expensive amongst all the 390 Adventure bikes on sale. That said, the extra price is for the added hardware, namely suspension and the wire spoke rims.
