2023 Honda Jazz revealed with 10 airbags standard

Honda has unveiled the 2023 Honda Jazz for the international markets. This is the facelift version of the current-generation Jazz, which has not yet made its way to the Indian shores.

What’s new on the 2023 Honda Jazz?

In terms of design, the car gets a new grille and a new headlight insert which is darker than the outgoing version. The bumpers too get a revised design with a new textured finish on the lower parts. In the higher trim level, Honda is offering new colours for the alloy wheels. The Elegance and Advance variants are the ones that get the most changes.

The hatchback is offered with a new e:HEV hybrid engine. This not only adds the power but also reduces the emissions from the Jazz.

2023 Honda Jazz Variant-wise updates

The Jazz Crossstar now comes with new side skirts that match the design of the bumpers. Honda has offered revised alloy wheels with a new finish as well as a new colour – Fjord Mist blue on this variant. On the inside, the Crossstar comes with new seat fabrics, and updated dashboard and door cards.

The Elegance and Advance trims meanwhile come with new colour, materials and finishes on the interiors.

The Advance Sport comes with a Urban Gray colour, new design bumpers and a sporty grille. It gets gloss black ORVMs and 16-inch alloys. On the inside, the Jazz Advance Sport comes with a mixture of suede and leather upholstery with contrast yellow stitching.

2023 Honda Jazz Powertrain

Honda has offered the e:HEV system on the new Jazz which includes a petrol engine and dual electric motors. The motor develops 122 PS and the generator has a 106 PS rating while the engine makes 197 PS. That said, the torque number has remained the same at 131 Nm.

The Advance Sport variant comes with an upgraded suspension and new dampers. These offer higher traction as well as the transmission gets a higher shift point. Honda says these changes will offer a much better driving experience to enthusiasts.

Other Updates in the 2023 Honda Jazz

Honda now offers a towing capability in the Jazz. All the variants can tow upto 500 kg. The car continues to get the Magic Seats, 10 Airbags, 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating and advanced driver aids.
