What’s new in the 2023 Hero MotoCorp Glamour?
One of the main updates to the bike is the digital instrument cluster. It reveals details like real time mileage amongst others. Hero has also added a USB port to charge the rider’s phones or other accessories.
Coming to the ergonomics, the bike now has a shorter seat height. Hero has reduced the rider seat by 8 mm and the pillion seat by 17 mm. This is thanks to the updated seat that is flatter and easier to mount on and off the bike. The fuel tank shape has also been revised.
Hero is offering the bike in three colour options – Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue-Black and Sports Red-Black.
On the hardware front, there have been no new updates. The bike continues to be based on a diamond-type frame and is equipped with telescopic front forks and dual rear springs. The bike rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.
Powertrain of the 2023 Hero MotoCorp Glamour
The Hero Glamour continues with the reliable 124.7cc single cylinder motor. This air-cooled motor develops 10.72 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. Hero has paired this engine with a 5-speed gearbox.
The engine also gets an idle start/stop system that further enhances the fuel economy of the bike.
Hero sales in July 2023
In July 2023, Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, reported sales of 391,310 units. These figures were influenced by adverse weather conditions during the month, including unprecedented rainfall and floods in certain regions of the country. These weather challenges resulted in crop damage and a significant decrease in customer visits to dealerships.
However, Hero MotoCorp anticipates an improvement in market demand in the upcoming months. This is due to the launch of new products before the festive season and the introduction of attractive financing options.
