Toyota is getting ready to launch the 2022 new Land Cruiser in the international market. Spyshots of the SUV have emerged on the internet, leading us to believe that the launch could take place in the coming weeks.
Toyota Land Cruiser Spyshots
According to the spy shots, the 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser comes with refreshed exteriors and interiors. The SUV features butch and boxy fascia with sleek LED headlamps and a horizontally slatted grille design. The car also features a clamshell bonnet and a tall, muscular design. The SUV also gets squared-off wheel arches and wraparound taillamps. The Land Cruiser also features roof rails and shark fin antenna, and chrome details on the window lines and bumpers.
Toyota Land Cruiser Interiors
Previous spy shots of the interiors of the SUV reveal redesigned dashboard and new instruments cluster. The pictures also show a floating island-style touchscreen infotainment system with the latest generation telematics. The Toyota Land Cruiser will also come with toggle-style switchgear with blue illumination and multi-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated seats with automatic function. Speculations are that the new Land Cruiser will also come with a fingerprint scanner on the Start/Stop button. The feature can automatically detect the driver and from stored preferences and set preset temperature settings, seat height & recline angle, steering rake & reach, media controls, etc.
Toyota Land Cruiser Powertrain
The Toyota Land Cruiser is likely to come with a twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 engine with an optional V8 engine on the top of the line model. While details of the engine are still unknown, the Land Cruiser in India used to come with a 4.5-litre V8 motor.
