2022 Toyota Aygo X crossover revealed, won’t come to India

Toyota has unveiled the all-new Toyota Aygo X. The Aygo X is a compact crossover that will compete in the A-segment. Toyota has revealed that the brand will design and produce the Aygo X in Europe. The company also boasts that the Aygo X will meet the demand of urban and suburban life in Europe. Toyota has revealed that the brand has gone through extensive research into urban driving requirements across the continent. The Toyota Aygo X has been built through feedback from the customers who want a stylish, compact and confident car.

Toyota A-Segment Platform

Toyota has revealed that the new Aygo X will underpin the GA-B platform. The successful compact car platform is derived from the venerable TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture). The platform made its debut on the renowned Toyota Yaris and the Yaris Cross. The Yaris is currently the Car of the Year in Europe. Thanks to the new platform, the Aygo X boasts to stand successful whether open roads or the city. The A-segment car not only stands out being compact and agile. Also, the compact car will integrate the best technological advancements in an economical and compact package.

Toyota Aygo X – Design and Features

The Toyota Aygo X comes with high-tech headlamps integrating with the upper hood forming a wing-like shape. The Aygo X also features a large grille, foglamps and a skid plate. The Aygo X also features a double trapezoid theme and ready to go anywhere attitude. The car also comes with four colour themes – Cardamom, Chili, Ginger and Juniper. The Aygo X features a large 9-inch high definition touchscreen display via Toyota Smart Connect and MyT smartphone app. The car also features wireless smartphone connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Toyota Aygo X – Engine Specifications

Powering the Toyota Aygo X is a 1-litre, 3-cylinder 1KR-FE engine. The brand reveals that the car will come with targeted fuel consumption of only 4.7l/100km and 107 g/km of CO2. The all-new Aygo X will be making its market debut in European cities in 2022.
