2022 Tata Tigor iCNG launched at INR 7,69,900

Tata Motors has launched the new Tata Tigor compact sedan in the Indian market in the new “iCNG” avatar. iCNG (Compressed Natural Gas) powered vehicles from Tata Motors boast to offer an immaculate balance between efficiency and performance. The Tata Tigor iCNG will also come with the best in class safety and features including segment-first technologies.

Tata Tigor iCNG – Price & Technology

The advanced iCNG technology has strengthened Tata’s position in the CNG market. The iCNG Tigor also reduces the tailpipe emissions and reduces the fuel import dependency of the country. The Tata Tigor iCNG comes with an affordable starting price tag of INR 7,69,900 ex-showroom Delhi. Tata offers the Tigor compact sedan in three variants – XZ, XZ+ (ST) and XZ+ (DT).

The XZ+ (Single Tone) comes with a price tag of INR 8,29,900 ex-showroom and the XZ+ (Dual Tone) comes with a price tag of INR 8,41,900 ex-showroom. The Tata Tigor iCNG is in-line with the brand’s New Forever philosophy that includes ‘Incredible’ performance, ‘Iconic’ safety, ‘Intelligent’ technology and ‘Impressive’ features. The brand also offers the new Tigor iCNG with new Magnetic Red colour options for distinction.

Tata Tigor iCNG – Technical Specifications

Powering the Tigor iCNG is a Revotron 1.2-litre BS6-compliant three-cylinder engine. The engine produces 73.4 PS of power which claims to be the highest for any CNG car in this segment. The Tigor iCNG also comes in with best-in-class technology and features. The fueling system is programmed to deliver optimum performance and seamless shifting from Petrol to CNG and vice versa. The engine produces 95 Nm of torque and comes paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Tata is offering the Tigor with a 35-litre Petrol and 60-litre Water Filling Capacity in CNG.

Tata Tigor iCNG – Features and Warranty

The Tata Tigor iCNG comes with features such as a segment-first direct start in CNG, faster refuelling and a digital instrument cluster. The Tigor iCNG gets rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, dual-tone roof, new seat fabric and new dual-tone black and beige interiors. The car also offers safety features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD and Corner Stability control as standard. Tata is offering the Tigor iCNG with a warranty of 2 years or 75,000 km as a standard option for all customers. Customers can request a test drive, make bookings, and select their preferred financing option on the website.
