Written by Nizam Shaikh

Skoda has revealed the exterior design of the Karoq SUV in the international market. Skoda also revealed that the new Karoq would make its debut digitally on the 30th of November 2021. Before its debut, the company has released two design sketches of the Karoq SUV, giving us a glimpse of what lies ahead in the near future. Skoda introduced the Karoq compact SUV in the international market four years ago. Now the new Karoq will come with a significant design and technology update.

2022 Skoda Karoq – Sketch Preview

According to the design sketch, the 2022 Skoda Karoq will come with a new, even more, distinctive fascia. The brand offers the new Karoq with a more prominent grille that has increased in width and now features double slats. The grille also gets a unique hexagonal design and a wide air intake below it. The design sketch also shows that the new Karoq will come with new slender headlights and extend into the grille compared to the predecessor.

Headlights

The headlamps now make their presence felt even more thanks to the redesigned daytime running lights which are now composed of two separate elements each. The brand also offers a secondary lighting unit for the fog lights or, in the top variant, a separate LED module. The headlights consist of the characteristic four-eyed driving lights.

Taillights

The design sketch of the Karoq also reveals a redesigned rear of the vehicle. The new Karoq will come with a longer rear spoiler and a visually updated rear apron with a black diffuser. The taillights also sport a new, sharply drawn design, and like the headlights, the taillights have been slimmed down as well. The taillights also feature crystalline structures that add a special visual effect. Skoda will retain their characteristic C-shaped graphic in the signature style.

More details on the new Karoq will be available closer to the SUVs launch.
