With the new MG ZS EV, the brand is also fulfilling its commitment to strengthening its position in the electric vehicle space in the Indian market.
2022 MG ZS EV – Price, Variants and Availability
The 2022 MG ZS EV comes with a starting price tag of INR 21,99,800 ex-showroom. This price tag is for the Excite variant which will be available from July 2022 onwards. However, enthusiasts can purchase the top-of-the-line Exclusive variant starting today (7th March). The exclusive variant comes with a price tag of INR 25,88,000 ex-showroom.
2022 MG ZS EV – Design Highlights
The new MG ZS EV comes with a new electric grille on the front. The blanked grille is more prominent than before and gives the ZS EV a distinctive look. The new ZS EV also comes with reprofiled front and rear bumpers as well as new design alloy wheels. The new MG ZS EV also comes with revised headlamps and taillamps with LED clusters.
2022 MG ZS EV – Top Features
The 2022 MG ZS EV comes with on-demand in-car services and subscriptions through CAAP (Car As A Platform). MG is offering subscriptions from partners like – JIO, Park+, MapMyIndia, and Shortpedia on the new ZS EV. The MG ZS EV also comes with i-Smart 75+ Internet Connected car features. The 2022 MG ZS EV also gets full-LED Hawk-eye headlamps and taillamps.
The car also gets a leather layer dashboard, 10.1-inch HD touchscreen, 7-inch full-digital instruments cluster with embedded LED screen and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. The 2022 MG ZS EV also comes with automatic climate control air-conditioning with a PM 2.5 filter. The MG ZS EV also comes with safety features such as 6-airbags, a 360-degree camera with rear-drive assist and hill descent control.

Powering the 2022 MG ZS EV is a 176 PS power electric motor capable of propelling the car from 0-100 kmph in 8.5 seconds. The 2022 MG ZS EV comes with a large 50.3 kWh, Advanced Battery Pack. The battery boasts of having the highest global safety ratings and offers a claimed range of 461 km on a single charge.
