Maruti Suzuki recently introduced the new XL6 MPV in the Indian market. According to the brand, the new Maruti Suzuki XL6 comes with an SUV inspired design, upgraded safety features, an efficient engine and new interior features. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 comes with an INR 11.29 lakh ex-showroom starting price. The brand offers four variants of the XL6 in both manual and automatic gearbox options. The XL6 is now available in Zeta, Alpha, Alpha+ and Alpha+ Dual Tone options. Also, the MPV comes with six monotone colours – NEXA Blue, Opulent Red, Brave Khaki, Splendid Silver, Arctic White and Grandeur Grey options. In addition to this, Maruti Suzuki is also offering three new dual-tone colour options – Opulent Red with Black Roof, Brave Khaki with Black Roof and Splendid Silver with Black Roof. The top-of-the-line model comes with a price tag of INR 14.55 lakh ex-showroom.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 now comes with the new Crafted Futurism design philosophy. The new design philosophy made its debut on the new-age Baleno, which was recently launched in the Indian market. Changes include a new chunky radiator grille, with a sweeping ‘X-bar’ element. The MPV also comes with Quad chamber LED headlights that house LED DRLs. The car also comes with a new 3D LED taillamp with a smoked grey lens and a gloss black finish on the B and C-pillars. Exterior features also include 16-inch alloy wheels with a two-tone finish.
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 sports a new 7-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment system. The new infotainment system comes with Suzuki Connect, Amazon Alexa and a new Hi Suzuki! voice assistant command. In addition to this, the company is also offering the new XL6 with premium features such as a perforated seat with ventilation for the driver and front passenger. The three-row MPV also comes with reclinable 2nd-row captain seats and reclinable 3rd-row seats.
The Indo-Japanese brand is now offering the Maruti Suzuki XL6 with four airbags (driver+co-driver front and driver+co-driver side) as standard. Additionally, the new XL6 also comes with standard safety features such as seatbelt reminders, reverse parking sensors, over-speed alerts, etc. Also as standard are Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist (HHA), and a 2nd-row ISOFIX child seat anchorage system. Safety features such as Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and a 360-degree camera are also offered on higher-spec models.
The brand is offering the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 with just one engine option. Powering the XL6 is a new-generation 1.5-litre four-cylinder K-Series engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid technology. The engine produces 102 PS of peak power and 136.8 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual and an all-new 6-speed torque converter automatic. The company is also offering steering-mounted paddle shifters on the automatic variant. Maruti Suzuki claims that with the new mild-hybrid petrol engine, the XL6 returns a fuel efficiency of 20.97 kmpl on the manual gearbox. While the automatic option claims 20.27 kmpl of mileage.
