The 2020 World Car of the Year award winner Kia Telluride makes its debut in a new facelift avatar. The 2022 model comes with new modest design enhancements, upgrades to the interior and additional safety features. The brand also revealed that the Kia Telluride is one of the hot sellers, with year-on-year sales up 68 per cent.
2022 Kia Telluride – Design Highlights
For 2022, the Kia Telluride features a redesigned radiator grille and a new Kia logo. The black-out grille comes with prominent studs in black chrome and the new KIA logo in the centre. The stylised TELLURIDE wordmark also appears on the bonnet finished in black. The front apron receives minor design tweaks and replaces the silver skid plate with a glossy black one. On the side, the Kia Telluride comes with rounded wheel arches and mirrors mounted on the doors instead of the A-pillar and roof rails. The Telluride’s rear comes with vertically-oriented LED taillamps, a prominent skid plate, and a tailgate-mounted spoiler.
2022 Kia Telluride – Interiors
For 2022, the SUV comes with a larger 10.25-inch navigation display and fully automatic temperature control. The Telluride also gets highway driving assist on the LX and S trims. Also, Kia has updated all the trims with a Navigation Based Smart Cruise Control-Curve. On the inside, the SUV features a multi-layered dashboard with satinised chrome trim, leather seat trim, rear HVAC, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, control mounted steering wheel, and a lot more.
2022 Kia Telluride – Safety Updates
The Kia Telluride features Driver Attention Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist is standard on all trims. In addition, the SUV also features multiple airbags, ABS, ESC, VSM, side-impact sensor, roll-over sensor, Torque Vectoring Corner Control (TVCC), Trailer Stability Assist (TSA), Child seat restraint system, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System etc.
2022 Kia Telluride – Engine Specifications
Powering the 2022 Kia Telluride is a 3.8-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine with Dual CVVT. The engine produces 291 hp of power and 355 Nm of torque. The motor comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an option of on-demand Active All-Wheel Drive.

In the North American market, the 2022 Kia Telluride starts from USD 32,790 MSRP for the front-wheel-drive base trim and goes up to USD 46,890 MSRP for the SX-P trim.
