2022 Hyundai Venue facelift launched in India at INR 7.53 lakh (Photo Gallery)

After a lot of leaks and teasers, Hyundai India has launched the 2022 Venue facelift in the Indian market. The new Venue gets updates to the exterior styling and interiors and more tech and features than before. These will also include a few segment-first features. The 2022 Hyundai’s pricing will start from INR 7.53 lakh ex-showroom.

Hyundai India opened bookings for the 2022 Venue about two weeks back. Interested customers could book the Venue facelift by paying an amount of INR 21,000. The customers could book the Venue facelift by visiting their nearest Hyundai dealership or online using the company’s official website.

2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift – Variants, Pricing & Colours

Hyundai will offer the Venue facelift in six variants. These variants are – E, S, S+, S (O), SX and the range-topping SX (O). The 1.2-litre petrol will only be available with the E and S variants. Also, the SX (O) variant is not available with the 1.2-litre petrol. Meanwhile, the turbo-petrol engine is available in two variants – S (O) and SX (O), with manual and automatic transmission options. Lastly, the diesel engine will be available in three variants – S+, SX and SX (O).

Hyundai is offering special introductory prices for the Venue facelift. The 1.2-litre MPi petrol range will start from INR 7,53,100. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre Turbo GDI and U2 1.5-litre CRDi range will start from INR 9,99,900. All the mentioned prices are ex-showroom. Hyundai also mentioned that the dual-tone colour option will cost INR 15,000 extra. The complete pricing is available below –

The 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift will be available in a total of seven colour options. These include six single-tone colours and one dual-tone colour. The single-tone options are – Typhoon Silver, Polar White, Titan Grey, Phantom Black, Fiery Red and Denim Blue. At the same time, the sole dual-tone colour option will be the Fiery Red with a Black Roof.

2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift – Top Features

The new Hyundai Venue facelift will get a host of segment-first and best-in-segment features. One of the highlights is the Home-To-Car (H2C). The segment-first feature will be compatible with Google Voice Assitant and Alexa. Using this feature, customers can control the Venue’s functions from the comfort of their homes.

The 2022 Venue facelift will now also feature three driving modes – Normal, Eco and Sport. They will let customers choose the perfect setting for their driving moods. The Drive Modes will also alter the theme of the new digital instrument cluster.

The 2022 Venue facelift will now get segment-first Power Drive Seat. The seat will get 4-way electric adjustability. Another segment-first feature will be the 2-step reclining rear seat. This will ensure the rear occupants are more comfortable than ever. The feature gives customers the flexibility of choosing an ideal seating posture. The rear seat will also get a centre armrest and a 60:40 split-folding function.

To add to the comfort, the 2022 Venue facelift also gets the ‘Sounds of Nature’ feature, which is another segment-first. The feature lets users play soothing acoustic music to help them relax.

Hyundai has also updated the Venue’s Bluelink system. It now offers 60+ new features. In addition to this, the Venue will now also get FOTA (Firmware Over-the-air) updates, which is another segment-first. The Bluelink now also adds support for multiple languages. These now also include 10 regional languages, making it a total of 10. The new supported languages are – Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Punjabi, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Oriya.

2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift – Powertrain

Hyundai continues to offer the Venue with three engines and four transmission options. The range will include two petrol engines and one diesel. One of the two petrol engines is the Kappa 1.2-litre MPi engine. The four-cylinder naturally-aspirated motor produces 83 PS and 113.8 Nm of torque. This engine is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission. The other petrol engine is the Kappa 1.0-litre Turbo GDI. The three-cylinder engine gets a turbocharger and direct injection technology. This helps the motor produce 120 PS and 172 Nm of torque. The turbo-petrol engine is available with two transmissions – a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT.

The Venue facelift will also be available with an oil-burner, the U2 1.5-litre CRDi. The four-cylinder diesel engine produces 100 PS and 240 Nm of torque. The diesel engine is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.

2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift – Warranty

For more peace of mind, Hyundai will offer the Venue with a standard warranty of 3 years / unlimited kilometres. Additionally, owners will also get 3 years of Roadside Assistance. The 2022 Venue will also get a 3-year free Bluelink subscription. Customers will also have the option to extend the standard warranty up to 7 years. Other optional packages include Hyundai Shield of Trust Car Care and maintenance packages.

Hyundai claims the Venue offers the lowest cost of maintenance in the segment. Thus, ensuring the best ownership experience and complete peace of mind for its owners.
