Harley Davidson announces the addition of some of its MY 2022 models. The rest of the models, alongside the limited-production models from Harley-Davidson Custom Vehicle Operations, will be launched at the world premiere ‘Further. Faster’. This World Premiere Event will live stream on 26th January at 09 30 PM IST. The motorcycle maker has opened up the registrations for this event. Harley Davidson has confirmed that these 2022 models will arrive at the authorized Harley Davidson dealerships across the world very soon.
Harley Davidson Forty-Eight
With the growing demand for cruiser motorcycles across the world, Harley Davidson is one of the most premium offerings. Under the cruiser segment, the motorcycle maker has 5 different options. These are namely, Heritage Classic 114, Fat Boy 114, Fat Bob 114, Iron 883 and Forty-Eight. Other than the cruiser segment, Harley Davidson offers products across three other segments. These are Sport, Adventure Touring and Touring.
Forty-Eight is a motorcycle that is popular for its massive low-end torque and soul-satisfying sound. Along with this, the motorcycle also gets lightweight aluminium heads and cylinders that enhance the air-cooling efficiency. Another key highlight of this motorcycle is its fat front wheel. This gives the motorcycle a very aggressive look and also makes the ride much smoother. The use of Emulsion Rear Shock with a Screw Adjuster adds to the convenience of the rider. The peanut-shaped fuel-tank design adds to enhance the overall outlook of the motorcycle. The exposed engine parts help in attenuating the vociferous side profile.
Powering the Forty-Eight is an air-cooled 1,202 cc engine. The performance figure stands at 96 Nm and 66 HP. In terms of rider aids, the motorcycle does get all the necessary kits and gauges. The list includes a Handlebar-mounted electronic speedometer with odometer, dual trip meter, time-of-day clock, low oil pressure light, engine diagnostics readout, low fuel warning light, LED indicator lights. The 2022 iteration of the Forty-Eight has three different colour shades. These are Vivid Black, Reef Blue, and White Sand Pearl.
