2022 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 114 revealed

Renowned American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has announced the arrival of its 2022 lineup of motorcycles at its authorized global dealerships. The brand will announce additional new bikes for 2022 in the coming weeks, which also includes the limited-production bikes. Harley-Davidson will showcase its Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO)-built bikes and other models during the “Further. Faster.” World Premiere Event.

The motorcycle manufacturer has announced that the World Premiere Event will take place on January 26th, 2022. Harley-Davidson has also ensured to update its India website with details of the 2022 Fat Boy 114, signifying its arrival. The brand has not yet announced the pricing of the new 2022 Fat Boy 114 for the Indian market.

2022 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 114: Design Details 

The new 2022 Fat Boy 114 retains its original fat-custom icon looks, which commands a steamroller stance. Aimed towards hot rod riders, the 2022 Fat Boy 114 now features re-styled Lakester cast, 11-spoke aluminium wheels. Additionally, the bike now features an open centre, a revised Fat Boy model tank badge, and a single-trail wing.

Harley-Davidson has retained the signature centred star on the new bike along with the squared-up LED headlamp and fat tires. Along with chrome detailing, the brand offers the bike in 3 standard colours – Vivid Black, Reef Blue, and Mineral Green Denim. Harley-Davidson also offers a dual-tone colour option which includes a Midnight Crimson exterior with Vivid Black inserts.

2022 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 114: Technical Specifications 

Harley-Davidson has equipped the 2022 Fat Boy 114 with its iconic 1868cc, Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. The engine produces 94 PS and 161 Nm via a 6-speed manual transmission with a 10 plate wet assist clutch. Additionally, the bike sports a seat height of 675mm, a ground clearance of 115mm, and an 18.9-litre fuel tank. For comfort and handling, the bike features dual 49mm, front aluminium telescopic forks, and a 43mm rear monoshock suspension.

The new 2022 Fat Boy 114 sports mild steel, tubular frame chassis along with 18-inch wheels on both ends. Harley-Davidson has equipped the bike with a single 300mm front brake disc and a 292mm rear disc brake. Additionally, the bike sports a 4-inch TFT display with Bluetooth-based navigation and calling, LED turn signals, and an LED taillight. Harley-Davidson has not yet announced the pricing of the new 2022 Fat Boy 114 for the Indian market.
