2022 Audi Q7 launched in India at INR 79,99,000

German luxury car manufacturer Audi has officially launched its all-new Q7 SUV in India, costing INR 79,99,000 lakh (ex-showroom). The iconic luxury SUV returns to India after 2 years with brand new levels of style, comfort, performance, and driveability. Offered in two variants- Premium Plus and Technology, the latter will cost INR 88,33,000 (ex-showroom). Audi India stated that the new Q7 retains its iconic yet versatile on and off-road abilities that it’s renowned for.

2022 Audi Q7: Design Details 

The all-new refreshed Q7 gets a prominent new front bumper with air inlets that showcase a strong three-dimensional effect. Highlighting the front fascia and its stance is the Singleframe Grille with an octagonal outline and a new sill trim. Finishing the front look are the Matrix LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and dynamic turn indicators for added visibility.

With an elongated body design and beefy wheel arches, the Q7 sports 19-inch, 5-arm star-themed alloy wheels for added visual appeal. The 2022 Q7 also sports a Panoramic Sunroof, a High-gloss styling package, and Adaptive Windshield Wipers with integrated washer nozzles. Audi will offer the Q7 in 5 colour schemes- Carrara White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Samurai Grey, and Floret Silver.

2022 Audi Q7: Interior and Features Details 

Audi has ensured to refresh the entire cabin of the Q7 with a driver-oriented cockpit design that offers easy ergonomics. Along with supporting intuitive hand movements, the cockpit architecture includes a new digital operating concept with two large touchscreens. Audi will offer the Q7 with two interior colours- Saiga Beige and Okapi Brown along with an Ambient Lighting Package Plus. This will allow the driver to access 30 customizable colours for the surface and contour lighting within the SUV’s interior.

With 7-seats that combines luxury with everyday practicality, the Q7 gets a new Audi Virtual Cockpit and Audi Smartphone Interface. It also sports Audi’s MMI Navigation Plus functionality with MMI Touch Response for the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Additionally, the infotainment system provides Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality alongside the 8.6-inch Remote MMI touch control panel. This panel enables the driver to control the automatic climate control settings, select his favourite apps and define various shortcuts.

Audi has equipped the Q7 with a 730 Watt, 19-speaker, B&O Premium 3D Sound system with a 16-channel amplifier. Middle-row passengers also gain access to rear-seat entertainment, consisting of two screens with adjustable and reclining seats. Other interior details include Genuine cricket leather upholstery, front centre armrest, electrically-adjustable front seats, and electrically-foldable 3rd-row seats. Safety features of the Q7 include 8 airbags, cruise control, lane departure warning with steering assist, and a 360-degree parking camera.

2022 Audi Q7: Technical Specs 

Powering the 2022 Q7 is a 3.0-litre, turbo-petrol, V6 TFSI engine with a 48V mild-hybrid electrical system. This helps the engine to produce 340 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque via the 8-speed, Triptronic automatic transmission. With a claimed top speed of 250 km/hr, the Q7 can accelerate from 0-100 kph in 5.9 seconds.

The new Q7 also gets Audi’s legendary Quattro all-wheel-drive system that offers sublime off-road and on-road driving capability across surfaces. The SUV also offers seven drive modes- Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficiency, Off-Road, All-Road and Individual via the Audi Drive Select. Finally, the new 2022 Audi Q7 also gets Adaptive Air Suspension that offers enhanced comfort and luxury for its occupants.
