Triumph reveals the 2021 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and XE in the international market. The 2021 model retains the original Scrambler design DNA and performance but delivers lower emissions. The brand has upgraded the Thruxton-sourced 1200cc twin which now conforms to Euro5 emission standards. Also new is an exhaust system with improved heat distribution. The 2021 Triumph Scrambler XC & XE come with Cobalt Blue with a Jet Black stripe, Matt Khaki Green with a Jet Black stripe and a single tone Sapphire Black paint option.
2021 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC & XE Engine Specifications
Powering the 2021 Scrambler 1200 XC & XE is a 1200cc 8-valve parallel-twin engine with a low inertia crank and a high compression cylinder
head. The engine is specifically developed to balance the power and torque delivery for both road and off-road riding. The engine produces 90 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque meaning it retains the renowned power and torque delivery. The revised exhaust system also delivers improved heat
distribution and low emissions.
2021 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC & XE Suspension & Brakes
The 2021 Triumph Scrambler 1200 comes with high-performance components in the suspension and braking department. The Scrambler 1200 features fully adjustable upside down Showa front forks and Ohlins twin spring rear shocks. This enables the motorcycle to traverse over rough terrain with ease. Superior off-road ability comes from 250mm wheel travel front and rear. Stopping power comes from 320mm floating discs with Brembo M50 radial monobloc callipers on the front. The single disc on the rear also features Brembo callipers, both equipped with a dual-channel ABS system. As standard, the 2021 Scrambler 1200 gets high specification wire-spoked wheels with aluminium rims and a side-laced design shod in adventure-focused Metzeler Tourance tyres. Customers can also equip Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres as an approved alternative.
