2021 Skoda Octavia Sportline revealed with petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid & CNG engines

Skoda has announced that the Skoda Octavia premium sedan will be available for the first time in the Sportline trim and the fourth-generation model will come with a range of powertrain options, enhanced exterior elements in a black finish, sports seats, sporty steering wheel and innovative assistance systems. The new Sportline trim will slot in between the Style and the performance-oriented Octavia RS in the international markets.

Design & Styling

The Skoda Octavia Sportline features a lot of black elements on the exteriors to distinguish the trim. The premium sedan gets gloss black treatment on the now sharper hexagonal radiator grille which is in line with the brand latest design language, black inserts on the air dam, sharp headlight units with new DRL light signatures, 17-inch Pulsar alloy wheels with a polished black finish as standard, black metallic 18-inch Vega alloy wheels exclusive to the Sportline, 19-inch black polished Taurus alloy wheels as an option, a black rear spoiler, gloss black wordmark on the tailgate, gloss black rear diffuser and Sportline badging.

Interior Features

The Skoda Octavia Sportline comes with Piano Black decorative strips and fabric finish for the instrument panel, sporty seats with integrated headrests and breathable ThermoFlux upholstery, decorative front door sills with Octavia wordmark, three-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel with Sportline badge, a USB-C port on the rearview mirror etc. The equipment from the Style trim carries forward on the Sportline trim and in addition, the Sportline features the option of DCC Dynamic Chassis Control with 15 settings ranging from comfortable to sports and other optional features such as Crew Protect Assist proactive occupant protection system, Collision-Avoidance Assist and Turn Assist and new central airbags system.

Powertrain Range

Powering the Skoda Octavia Sportline is a 150PS power, 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine with 7-speed DSG and mild-hybrid technology, a 190PS power, 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine with DSG and all-wheel drive as standard. A 204 PS power, Octavia iV Sportline with plug-in hybrid drive, a 130PS power, G-TEC CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) powertrain and a 2.0-litre TDI turbo-diesel in three states of tune, 115 PS, 150 PS and 200 PS. The 2.0-litre TDI with 150 PS power comes with DSG and all-wheel drive as an option, while others are included as standard.
