2021 Mahindra XUV700 Launched at INR 11.99 lakh

Mahindra just launched the XUV700 in India with a starting price of INR 11.99 lakh ex-showroom. The brand launched the all-new SUV just hours before India’s 75th Independence day marking a new era for the company. Mahindra also revealed that the bookings for the XUV700 would begin before the upcoming festive season in the Indian market. The XUV700 claims to offer unmatched safety, performance, technology and a rugged yet sophisticated driving experience.

2021 Mahindra XUV700 – Price and Variants

Mahindra offers the XUV700 in a dual trim concept. The XUV 700 comes with an MX variant and an AX variant. So far, the brand has announced the prices on four variants – two MX variants and two AX variants. Furthermore, the brand will be announcing the price on the remainder variants in the coming days. The MX petrol variant comes with a sticker price of INR 11.99 lakh ex-showroom. The MX diesel variant comes with a price tag of INR 12.49 lakh ex-showroom.

The AdrenoX AX3 variant comes with a price tag of INR 13.99 lakh ex-showroom, and the AdrenoX AX5 trim comes with a price tag of INR 14.99 lakh ex-showroom. It is important to note that all the four variants that made their debut are in the 5-seater configuration with a manual gearbox. The brand will announce the prices for the automatic transmission and 7-seater variant in the near future. In addition to this, the optional packs, which include features such as electrically-deployed Smart Door Handles, immersive three-dimensional Sony audio system, 360-degree camera, blind view monitoring, electronic parking brake, and wireless smartphone charging, will be announced on a later date.

2021 Mahindra XUV700 – Top Features

The base MX variant comes with features such as an 8-inch infotainment system and a 7-inch instruments cluster. The MX variant also gets Android Auto, Smart Door handles, LED taillamps, steering mounted controls, power ORVM with turn indicator, auto-dimming IRVM, and 17-inch steel wheels. The AX trim comes with all the bells and whistles starting from dual HD 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instruments, wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, Amazon Alexa, 60+ connected features, and 17-inch steel wheels with covers.

Higher-spec models such as AX5 also comes with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, Skyroof panoramic sunroof, curtain airbags, cornering lamps, sequential turn signals, etc. The Top-spec AX7 gets ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), dual-zone climate control, leatherette seats, leather steering wheel, side airbags, power-adjustable seats with memory etc.

2021 Mahindra XUV700 – Engine Options

The Mahindra XUV700 comes with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 200 PS of power and 380 Nm of torque. The 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine on the MX trim produces 155 PS of power and 360 Nm of torque. On the AX variant, the diesel engine produces 185 PS of power and 420 Nm of torque in the manual gearbox option.
