While Kawasaki has not officially revealed the reason for the price hike, but it can be speculated that the price hike could be due to a number of factors or combinations of factors including the weakening of the Indian currency and the rise in the input costs.
Apart from the new paint scheme which comes with a green front fender, green nose, green tail cowling, black fuel tank, black side fairings and new graphic design with a combination of green stripes on black, the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX remains the same.

The 2021 model features all-LED lighting, hand-adjustable windscreen with four adjustable points instead of three, an aerodynamic nose, ergonomically redesigned seats for long-distance touring, but the most significant change on the new Model Year is the exhaust system which is now a single-sided four-into-one unit instead of the quad-tipped exhaust on the predecessor.
